Biography

James Haughney,
Vice President of Operations

Mr. Haughney is responsible for providing leadership to the operational team of his assigned hotels. He is presently managing the International Plaza Resort and Spa, in Orlando, Florida, the largest property in BVHG's current portfolio. Mr. Haughney is a veteran of over 30 years in the hospitality industry with extensive operational expertise in a wide variety of hotels, resorts, casinos, spas, golf, and hotel condominiums. He was the Vice President of Operations of hotels and resorts of the southeast region for Interstate Hotels and Resorts. Mr. Haughney was with Hilton Hotels for 20 years, where he held various operations, sales and food and beverage positions. He is a current member of the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association and an active member of the government affairs committee (industry lobbyist). He is also a member of Chaine des Rotisseurs. He is a Waldorf Astoria Alumni.
