Biography

Dennis BeMent,
CHA, Vice President of Operations

Mr. BeMent in his role oversees operations and sales and marketing strategies for several BVHG managed hotels and resorts in Central Florida. Mr. BeMent has over 30 years of experience in Hotel Management. He has held several corporate and multi-property positions with companies such as ITT Sheraton, Remington Hotels, Westgate Resorts, Days Inns of America, and InterContinental Group Hotels. Mr. BeMent previously worked for Buena Vista Hospitality Group as Director of Project Development and then rejoined BVHG in 2001. He is an active member of the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association and was honored as the CFHLA Hotelier of the Year in 2005. He is also past president and board member of both the CFHLA and Skål International Orlando; and a member of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. Mr. BeMent is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Hotel Administration.  He is a Registered Real Estate Broker and holds an active CAM (Community Association Manager) certification from the State of Florida.
