Mary Hafeman joins Buena Vista Hospitality Group

Mary E. Hafeman, PGA & LPGA Golf Professional is named Director of Golf Operations at the LPGA International Golf Club in Daytona Beach Florida.

Ms. Hafeman is a former player on the LPGA Tour, is one of the games's Top 50 Teachers according to Golf for Women magazine and recognized as a Top Golf Teacher by region by Golf Magazine. Mary E. Hafeman is the former head golf professional at Ocean Hammock Golf Club™. In this capacity, Hafeman was responsible for golf services and operations at this Jack Nicklaus Signature oceanfront course singled out by Golf Digest as one of America's 10 Best New Upscale courses. She is an A-4 member of the PGA of America and an LPGA Class A member.

A 1980 University of Florida graduate, Hafeman was the captain and most valuable player as a member of the Gators' women's golf team. She was elected to the university's Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998. Among her playing accomplishments are: 1979 Women's Western Amateur Champion, 1980 USGA Curtis Cup Team member and 1981 Women's Eastern Amateur Champion. In 2003 Hafeman was inducted into the Wisconsin State Golf Association's Hall of Fame.
